Dr Jamie Clarey

Dr Jamie Clarey did post-graduate medicine from the University of Sydney 2009, following a Bachelor of Engineering (Bioinformatics) from the University of NSW in 2005.  She did her residency in Newcastle at the John Hunter Hospital, Mater Hospital and Manning Base Hospital.  In 2013, she joined Raymond Terrace Family Practice and has been here ever since.

Dr Clarey has subspecialised in Women's and Children's Health, with a Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive health and a Diploma in Child Health.  She is also very interested in managing chronic diseases such as diabetes and heart disease.  She has previously been involved in both teaching of medical students and research.

Outside of the practice, her interests include cooking, travelling, singing and knitting.
